SAMURAI ring

These Mokume Gane rings are homage to the Ancient Japanese metal work rooted in Samurai armor and weaponry.  We use steel, brass and copper as base materials to create versions of the Ancient Shakudo and Shibuchi alloys employed by master craftsman hundreds of years ago.  

These are all one of a kind pieces. Like ripples in a pond the pattern is a random cross section of a hand forged billet we make from scratch in a foundry in the Japanese country-side.

The metal in the rings will take on a rich and personal patina with wear, over time.  Medicinal effects of the copper alloy will be enjoyed by many, but those with metal allergies, or sensitivities might not consider these pieces.
